![]() ![]() I'm leaving my rating undeclared because while I abandoned this at the 35% mark, don't believe it deserves a one-star rating. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of classics and horror! This has taught me not to avoid short story collections anymore, because I may find a gem like this one! There was one that gave me slight goosebumps and did creep me out though! I also loved being able to pick this book up when I only had a short period of reading time. I don’t actually have a favourite from this collection, all of the stories were strong in their own way. But after the first page or so I was really able to get into each story and it became much easier to read. ![]() This book is a classic, and like all classics I’ve read it’s not necessarily easy to read. ![]() What did jump out at me was the beauty of M.R. For example, it is not explained precisely how did the future 26-year-old selves of the main protagonist and her friends are able to send their letters to the past. The plot itself looks random if you don’t start reading the manga, because there is a little of sci-fi elements in it. I read it in one day and it gave me a lot of feels because the story touched me. “Orange” is a shojo manga with strong moments. She let the person she loved disappear and she can’t bear to lose him again in a parallel reality, if this letter is ever able to make it into the past. In that letter, older Naho wrote that she has regrets. “Orange” is the story of Naho Takamiya, a 16 year old girl who receives a letter that contains information about her future, written by her 26-year-old self. A live action for this work is set to be released this December in Japan, and I wish it keeps it close to the original story unlike many adaptations that in my opinion failed miserably (see L-DK for example). I have just finished reading this short manga series called “Orange”, a shojo which I devoured in just one day. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() $29.99ģ20 PGS./Rated T SUGGESTED FOR TEENS AND UP. In fact, caste was never an issue for women as we as well. Earlier the knowledge and education system were dominated by Upper-Class people, thereupon there was no need for discussion about the caste, and caste was hardly a matter of discussion. There was no place for Dalit literature and narratives in the learnings of the student, but when there were movements led by socialists such as Ambedkar and Jyotiba Phule about the atrocities faced by lower caste people (Chuhre)it led to change in the theory of knowledge offered by Brahmanas.
